Stranger in a Strange Land

If you disagree with me, say so. 

If I have upset you, say so. 

If I have embarrassed you, 

Insulted you, 

Hurt you, 

Made you uncomfortable, 

Say so. 

Otherwise what is the point? 

A friendship lost out of fear, 

For lack of confrontation, 

Lack of honesty, 

Was never a friendship to begin with.

Beauty and poetry are meaningless

Without discomfort.

Some people were born to succeed, 

Some to inspire, 

Some to create, 

Some to lead, 

I was born to suffer

And you cannot convince me otherwise.
